Clióna Roberts has worked in theatre publicity for over 15 years, starting her career at RTE in Dublin before moving to London to work for the Royal Shakespeare Company where she worked for five years as Press Officer at the Barbican. She went on to become the Head of Press and PR at the Young Vic Theatre, working on several world premieres, new work by young directors and the redevelopment of the theatre by award-winning architects Haworth Tompkins.
Clióna established CRPR in 2006 and is retained by some of the UK’s leading theatres. She has lead the campaigns for openings of major theatres including the Rose Theatre under Sir Peter Hall, and most recently the new Haworth Tompkins-designed Liverpool Everyman which won the Stirling Prize 2014.
CRPR works alongside traditional, online and social media on a national, regional and local level and tailors campaigns to suit individual needs from West End, touring, small-scale shows on the fringe, festivals to site specific events.
